Black Stools for 2 days with any abdominal pain.

I've had loose black stools twice in last two days. I don't have any abdominal pain or burning. I was taking ibuprofen most of the week for the last 2-3 months. I understand that ibu and cause bleeding after prolonged use, but I don't feel an ulceration or anything. I got a occult blood feces test to get samples of mine, but I have to wait until Mon. to turn it in and then wait for the results and the wait again. I'm worried. If it is blood what could it be? Would it be a life threatening disease? I just don't want to know it might be cancer. I'm only 34 and feel fine-no fatigue or loss of appetite and I've recently had a lot of blood work done (for something else) which all came back good 4 months ago. Any doctors out there that can ease my mind just to get through the weekend??? I have terrible anxiety too.

The black color went away, but I turned my stool samples anyways. I told the doc, I ate a bunch of Oreos for two nights straight. She didn't think they caused it, but we'll see...

I wanted to add that since you've only had this for 2 days it may also be due to something you ate.  I wouldn't worry, but I would stop the Ibuprophen.  Relax and take care....

I'm not a doctor, but black stool usually indicates an intestinal bleed between the stomach and colon, which may be due to the ibuprohen.  This is a side effect of using it for a long period of time, and will subside when you  stop using it.  I would stop using it immediately.  This is not life threatening and is easily treatable usaually by just stopping it.
