Sounds like GastroparesisGastroparesis to me. Slow stomach emptying. I have this problem and the same symptoms as you. Belching and vomiting and loss of appetite are classics in this problem. See a Gastroenterologist and ask for a stomach emptying scan. They test if your stomach is retaining food for too long. Also try some hydrochloric acid tablets from a health food shop as low stomach acid can cause these problems. Digestive enzymes to help the pancreas may also help. I also get heaps of bloating. Let me know how you get on ***@****. All the best
If you have gastroparesis will you get nauseous and bloated every time you eat or is it something that can occur on an occassional basis that seems to act up with eating the wrong kinds of foods... For example, I have many of the same symptoms that you have except that I think certain foods are making it worse and I know my nausea is a lot worse when my stomach is really acidy. I am going to a gastroenterologist in a couple of weeks and I'm going to ask him to do this test?
Boy do I know what you're saying -- re. symptoms of bloating and nausea and tiredness after eating. Also headaches for me--every 2 weeks. I have tried for years to understand whats happening -one of my best quesses so far is anxiety reactions (my job has a lot of stress). Gastrparisis?? I've never heard of it and am going to look into it. Sure am getting tired of it though.
Simply put....I do not burp. Instead, air escapes my throat and makes a gargling noise...rather disturbing. It happens after I eat or drink anything including carbonated drinks. Why would I not burp though? To be honest with you, I would like to let out a big belch to make me feel better sooner. ANY ADVICE PLEASE??
