Bloating

Ok,I will keep this brief, if I can.  For the last 3 years, have had extreme bloating, not PMS bloating, but bloating and looking like I am 9 months pregnant. I eat very little and bloat immediately. I bloat no matter what type of food I eat, it doesn't matter.  No one can find the answer. Last summer, I had an emergency appendectomy. While performing that operation, they noticed that my small intestine was blocked, so they took out a foot of my intestine.  I thought that was the answer to my bloating, because it certainly made sense. However, I started bloating right away. I might have had a few days/week of not bloating, but I wasn't eating anything really. That was one year ago. I have all the same symptoms, eat little, bloat horribly, constipated. I have had a gastric emptying study, a Bacterial overgrowth test and a small bowel series.  They all came back normal.  The gastric emptying took me 5 hours and they considered that normal. The bacterial overgrowth did show some bacteria, they put me on antibiotics and that was that. I didn't notice any difference.  The small bowel series came back normal.  During the procedure, I heard the radiologist talking about my scans and it sounded like he found something. So, I was glad, thinking the results would come back with an answer. However, the doctors office called me with a "normal" finding. I am at my wit's end. I think the doctor is done with me. I see him Tuesday of next week.  However, I am living with this, I am miserable. I am wondering if anyone on here has had the same experience, have you had any other tests done??? Any answers???

Have you ever been checked for fibroids? Just a thought,I'm very good at diagnosing ills,if I know all your symptoms.Rescently,I started egg powder,every morning,2 scoops at first,now 1 scoop a day.go to legacyforlife.com to order.This stuff gave me energy like I couldn't believe,it also stopped the fever and inflammation in my neck.Flaxseed oil in capsule form could do you some good,also.I hope you feel better soon! P.S Never give anyone power over you ,as in letting a bad incident ruin a holiday for you.Holding on to anger or hurt causes a heck of alot of problems,physically or emotionally.Whatever happened in the past,do your best to let it go!!!Even when someone is out of our lives,when we think of them and allow there past negative energy to affect us or our choices,they win!And somehow I believe they get a sense of it...

Hi Jen,
I am currently waiting on a pelvic CT also. So that might show something. My symptoms have been the extreme bloating, feeling full quickly, weight gain, constipation, urinary problems. I have been going to this gastro doctor for almost a year and he cannot find out what is wrong. Thanks for answering the post!

Is your white bloodcell count high,any swelling in your ankles?You have many symptoms that indicate something that I can't believe wasn't found.Any undesired infertility ever in your life?Any weight gain,not usual for you?

Ok, Jen, you scare me! What are you thinking that it is??? No infertility on my part. I have 5 boys. and yes, I have weight gain and I eat very little and I still exercise. I have been concerned about all of this, thus all the doctors I have been going to, but now you have me curious as to what you are thinking?

If it is what I'm thinking,I can't imagine it going unfounded after many tests.Don't worry,and we'll pray that its nothing.Realign,I think its called,is a probiotic that will help many of your systems or Bio-k,a drinkable probiotic.I'm so sorry for scarring you,just get the scan.God Bless & Take Care,Jen
