I know talking about bowel movement isn't the easiest of all subject matter, but what can i say.. i'm a little paranoid i guess.
Question is.. how exactly does blood clots in stool look like, recently I've been seeing red bits in my stool. I'm not quite sure if it's food or not, but it looks like small red pieces lodged in the movement. I'm only 21, i'm just worried if it could be colon cancer or crohns and the like. And as far as i'm concerned.. nobody in my family has history of either. I'm only seeing clots, not so much streaks. and i'm not experiencing any pains.. any opinions out there?
Don't be embarrassed about your question, we speak very freely on here about these issues.
First look at what you're eating to determine if what you are seeing is undigested food. If not, you should see a GI doctor and get evaluated. At your age it probably isn't anything serious, but you may be heading off something that could become more serious if left alone. We always need to address the issue of blood in our stool, just to be on the safe side.
