Blood in 'poo'

Blood in 'poo'

I'm 19. For the past 3 days or so, I've found a little bit of smear on the toilet paper that's wiped after a dump. I don't feel any pain at all. I wana get some advices before I go to doc. I'm really scared it had never happened to me before.

Putting it out there. Do you have or have had anal sex in the past week or so. If so this can occur and is quite common. It is also quite common to have rectal bleeding after a large ball movement. Sometimes you break the skin open. If you detect blood in your stool, a simple swab can be done by  your doctor to determine if there is blood in it or not. Or it could be hemroids.

If it's bright red too, it's near the surface, the more internal the bleeding the darker the blood. could be internal piles.

The most common cause of bright red blood on the surface of the stool is hemorrhoids (piles).  Many people have hemorrhoids internally and never know they're there.  They are just enlarged blood vessels, and sometimes they'll rupture when you have a BM or strain a lot.  If you tend toward constipation, try slowing increasing fiber in your diet and make sure you drink plenty of water.
