Blood in stool

I am 20 year old male who has always had problems with bowel movements. it was always chronic for me. after i eat i would usually have one. But now i feel more concerned. I feel that my bowel movements have become more frequent and sometimes there is blood in stool but it is almost always i find blood when i whip. the stool is sometimes dark sometimes light and sometimes an orange colour and sometimes a yellow colour. but it always is a foul smell. I don't know what to do. sometimes i feel the blood is occurring more frequently it has been happening for sometime now possibly a month or so. i had my first sexual experience a year and a half ago i am not gay but i feel maybe a wart is there i am not sure. i don't know if it might be related to hpv. the blood when i whip sometimes it is bright red and sometimes i see black stuff so i think it is dried up blood. I just need some help. I feel like i may have something serious this problem has been going on for sometime now. more than a month i believe so i don't think it is hemoroids.

Bright red blood is usually hemorrhoids and nothing to really be concerned with. Black, coffee ground looking blood is a concern and should be checked out by a doctor right away. Your comment on foul smelling stools made me think of my problem from a few years back. Turns out I had SIBO, or small bowel bacterial overgrowth. This made me feel bloated, nauseous, with either constipation or diarrhea, along with varying colors of stool, all of which were foul smelling. If those symptoms are close to what you have been feeling, go see a gastroenterologist and ask for a hydrogen breath test. You blow up a little balloon on an empty stomach to give a baseline reading, then drink a small cup of a sweet glucose like liquid, then blow up another balloon every 15 minutes for a few hours. I think it was a total of 12 balloons. My results came back positive for SIBO, and I was prescribed an antibiotic which I took for two weeks, followed by a recommendation to take Align probiotics and eat yogurt or drink keifer. I feel much better now and have been taking Align ever since. My stool smells normal again too. Hope this helps.
