Blood in toilet after BM....

Blood in toilet after BM....

Hello,
Some facts; 17 yo male, overweight, but healthy.
Last night after a BM, I looked in the toilet to see a small amount of bright red blood. It wasn't much, i'd say maybe 3 drops, just enough to be visable. On the toilet paper, it looked as if I had a blood nose. Same color as when i have a nosebleed. It stopped fairly quickly. I have had no pain or anything like that. I had another BM this morning, and there was no blood at all. I'm a hypochondriac and have bee to the Dr. a few times in the last few months, so I'm really concered. Should I make a doctors appointment? I really dont have the money right now, I don't want to unless I have to. Is this serious, or is it normal? Thanks for any help!

It sounds like you have a hemorrhoid that's bleeding.  Although this in itself is not serious, I would see your doctor about it, because any rectal bleeding should be checked out.  You're too young to have anything serious.  Take care!

Thanks for the input! Everyone keeps telling me I'm too young for anything like Colin cancer, but me being the hypochondriac I am, cannot settle for that answer =) Thanks for the help!
