Blood on stool not haemorrhoids and pathology cam back clear

Hi I have noted that within 24 hours of eating Dairy I get rectal pain just prior to a BM with blood on the exterior of my stool. Pathology comes back clean an no Haemorrhoids. I have tracked this symptom for some time  and can confirm that it happens with increased cheese or yoghurt intake  I dont drink milk ads it  results in sever diarrhoea and stomach pain. with the cheese and yoghurt  My BMs feel often sharp on passing and the blood bright, some times it appears slightly clotted. if i avoid dairy for 48 hours the symptom passes and I can deliberately induce it by eating it again.

Lactose intolerance and being allergic to dairy products are very very different things.  It is a good idea to figure out which problem you have.

You're lactose intolerant, allergic to dairy products.  I developed this same allergy and had to completely eliminate dairy from my diet or I would get sick.  Yes it *****, but you have to listen to your body.  Look at it like this - someone with a fish or peanut allergy avoid those foods because their body will reject them and effect the body negatively.  Well, that's what dairy does to you.  Eliminate dairy products, it's not worth possibly developing digestive problems just because you want that slice of pizza.  Good luck
