Blood

Blood

I have been suffering stomach pains for a week and a half. The pains were quite severe but have now eased away. There is still some pain and I am going to the toilet and doing diorhea quite a few times a day. I have noticed it is very watery and there is bright red blood. What shall I do?

Rectal bleeding is never normal and you should seek medical advice promptly.  Type in rectal bleeding to google/yahoo etc in order to study the various possible causes.  You don't state your age but the more sinister causes generally only arise at the age of ~40+.

My suggestion is that if there is any doubt or uncertainty, you ask for a colonoscopy and/or endoscopy as a way to provide maximum reassurance.

Good luck
