Hopefully you have no diagnosis of intestinal diagnosis that could cause additional problems with your intestine or rectum. You may need a Fleets Oil Enema since you have a loose stool possibly coming around a solid hard BM/stool present in your lower bowel. The oil could soften the material and lubricate it well if you are able to hold that Fleets Enema in for 10 minutes or so. This type of enema is slow and fairly cheap sold in a common local pharmacy. Also the amount of liquid in this enema is about a cup. If this does not work and you are old enough to be on Medicare a visiting nurse could help you. There are other remedies that your Dr's staff could suggest. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Prune juice, lots of fluids and fiber, and physical exercise.
You can try all natural ways of removing the blockage, you can chomp on fiber rich foods to help soften your stool. You can also take fiber supplements if your doctor would allow it.
First, I would suggest trying to move things along more naturally. I have had bad experiences with Miralax where all it does is give you the worst smelling gas in the history of gas and you still dont produce a bowel movement.
Try something like matamucil or benefiber, eat a lot of fiber rich foods, and drink lots of water.
You can also drink prune juice, as that is a more natural laxative.
