Recently I have had issues with my bowel movements that have not seem to go away. It has been around 4 weeks since this started.
My stools have a green tint to them and they are no longer "bulk" (they are very small and sometimes borderline diarrea (diarrhea)-like), they also smell very foul. In addition I get a significant amount of gas that feels like its trapped in my intestines and when it does come out it smells as foul as the stools.
This usually happens in the mornings, where I feel cramped and the feeling of gas trapped in intestines feels painful. (usually passes after a hour or so).
My actual bowel movements are normal (once a day).
I assume the issue at hand might be a lack of fiber. My diet is relatively healthy but as far as i'm aware there are two types of fiber so it might be i'm lacking in one of them.
Or is there perhaps another reason for this problem?
