Bulimia

by chrissy88, Jun 08, 2008 09:33PM
Hi
Have have had severe bulimia for nearly 20 years now, I am 41 and have just started to feel the effects of terrible reflux.  I have read some of the above cases in horror, I had no idea vomiting could be so dangerous.  I am wondering if there is anything I can now do to stop my indigestion getting any worse.  I am guessing stopping vomiting is the best thing I can do.  God if only!  This has really scared me.

To: Everybody
Please help! I had bulemia for ten years. I have quit for a year now but experience alot of pain. I am a male and overweight and used purging to control it. My last doctor said I have a big lump on my esophagus. Any time stomache acid crosses my esophagus, somthing undern my esophagus tremors. I get bad sinus headaches and have respiratory infections 4 times a year. My headache disappears when I drink water and take prilosec. It feels like ACID is leaking through the wall of my Esophagus. The same pressure I feel in my chest goes to my sinuses as well. Acid shoots up like a spickett regularly into my chest and mouth. When this happens I get a terrible pain in the inner middle sinus area. If I drink a beer, it feels like I have drinken five. My eyes become bloodshot. I lost my insurance and affraid I wont be around much longer. My e-mail is ***@****. My name is Michael.
