CHRONIC COUGHING STOP PLEASE

I have a chronic cough that ive had for a three months docters are puzzled they say its severe tracia broncitis but yet the medicine they give me doesnt work. I havent got better, i cough up white mucas and my chest hurts at times when its at its peak. i 17 years old i dont smoke i dont drink or any other type of drug, actually iam a substantialy good atlete. I run track and field which i have to use my lungs alot but this kills my running method when i run.

Have you been tested for asthma? There is a kind of asthma called "coughing asthma". It can be triggered by allergies which would explain the problem starting in the last 3 months. Have you tried any inhalers? Have you had a chest xray to rule out other things?

Hi, I have this cough it will not go away i have had it for 4 years now. i have been to a specialist eyes, ears, throat they found nothing...i did have cancer, colon, liver, lympth nodes. its been 5 years im in remission, i also went to have the allergy test where they inject 80 different needles im not allergic to anything. my cough has gotton worst. i cough of this thick white mucas, then i think about it and throw up. i never smoked,or drank nor do i do drugs. every one say its nothing but it sounds like i have bronchiotis(cant spell) my chest hurts from it. do you have any idea what this is and how do i get rid of it........
