CHRONIC DISORDER

I have been experiencing chronic diarrhea for ten months.  I have had cultures  done and the usual "oscopys"  everything comes out "normal".  I do have a long hitory of peptic ulcer disease (not pyloric) barrets esophigas...and two years ago went through a complete hysterectomy due to a stage 1 ovarian tumor.  My age is 62.  the urge to evacuate begin around 4am  and continue throughout the day...almost at will...ie when I sit down to urinate...I can always produce through the bowel.  watery (looks like dishwater) sometimes yellow always without real stool.....I have not lost weight due to this which tells me that I am not seriously ill....I take immodium, kaopectate anything that boasts anti-diarrehal...results...nothing works.  Recently purchashed pills said to alleve IBS symtoms (symptoms)...no help.  thinking of changing Gastroenterologist....and redoing
all tests elsewhere.  What do you think I am experiencing???  It is really starting to get me down.

Just liquid coming through sounds like you may have actually got severe constipation or impaction where only liquid can get past a blockage. If it's so bad you do need to see a new doctor because you may not be absorbing food properly. After a hysterectomy it is always possible you could have adhesions tying things up but I would have expected pain with that. Not a doc- just someone who has adhesions.
I know when my son was small he could pass only liquid for several weeks (Not months) and he did have severe constipation but that should be clear even on an x ray.
