Can Gallbladder Removal Cause Acid reflux or Bile Relux?

by aprilraincaleb, May 31, 2009 07:05PM
I did not even know i was having acid reflux or bile reflux not sure which one it is yet. I got my gallbladder removed almost a year ago in 2008. A few months after the gall bladder was out my throat was starting to fell raw. Eventually i seen my Ent he said it looked like it was from acid. He prescribed Prislec & even with that i get regurgatation in my throat. I get it no matter what i eat or drink even water. I stopped taking the prislec. I seen a gastro doctor recently he did a scope down my throat he said he did not see a ulcer or anything abnormal. He did n ot do a PH test & at the time i did not know it could be bile. Has anyone experienced or know anything about this?
