Can my on and off pain be my appendix?

One day ago, before I went out for a run, I noticed that my lower right side was sore. I thought it was a stitch and continued on with my run and had no pain after that. About half and hour later my pain started again after I got out of my car. The pain felt as if something was sore and not unbearable. It would only hurt if I stretched or got up from the chair. I went to the bathroom and noticed that it went away and continued on with my day even though I felt off for the first couple of hours. The next day I was fine up until midnight, were the dull pain comeback suddenly. I tried to go to the bathroom and was constipated. I also noticed that there was some mucus in the BM as well. A pain in my upper abdomen(under rib cage) appeared for a minute and left with the pain in the lower right. Now I only feel aches around my stomach every so often. So what could it be?
