Just recently i have been have problems going to bathroom, i cramp relly bad and a red mucus stool comes out not alot though, and throughout the day i have cramps and pains in sides and back. I just can't figure iut what it could be.
If you're seeing 'red' in the mucus you need to check with your doc and request some testing. Mucus is normalNormal saline flush, but when you're seeing an abundance, it means that it's being put out in larger quantities because it's trying to act as a 'protectant' of some sort to protect the inside of your lower GI tract. And if blood is present 'something' is going on especially if you're experiencing pains in your sides and back. Call your doc.
