Can't get food down-regurgitation of liquid and food with alot of tasteless clear mucus and foam

I had an endo for persistent heartburn and to stretch a stricture (had it done 3 years ago too). Due to finding an esophageal ulcer the dr.  wanted to wait until he ulcer is healed due to bleeding possibility.  I've been on Nexium for 2 months now and the heartburn is virtually gone. However, I have great difficulty getting food to stay down.  I can feel its stuck in the esophagus.  Then it's regurgitated, with clear, tasteless, very sticky, stretchy mucus.  Once I have food get stuck and come back up, I can't even get fluid down for up to an hour or longer. It comes back up, usually preceded and followed by the mucus or foam.  I feel like its the mucus causing the blockage and can't figure out what's going on.  I can't see the dr for 5 more days and I'm really at wits end.  Nothing seems to help (ie, other acid meds, etc.) Any ideas?

need to know what foods I can have and not have.  Had lapband surgery last year and just diagnosed with esophigitis.  Not able to eat lost 20 lbe in 3 weeks.
