Chronic Nausea

Hi There

I am a 31 year old female and been having chronic nausea. I usually get nausea all morning even after breakfast. After I have lunch the nausea usually gets better and if I burp it gets better. There are some occasions when it does not get better all day but is less after lunch.

I have had a baruim test and an endoscopy test. Neither test showed any issues. I also had a empyting test and it showed that my stomach takes time to empty. Usually before a cycle or during it is worse and I am very nauseated.

I also notice that a lot of times when I eat I am usually full and do not get hungry easily.

I do get nervous easily and when nervous I cannot eat or drink. I also get excessive sweating.

Since I was a kid I would be nauseated. As a kid I used to get nausea in the morning which I think was due to being nervous.

Please help! I want the nausea to stop!

I keep reading about the HIDA scan.  I am interested in finding out more.  I have that same pain that people keep talking about and just read a post that the person described what had happened with me when I had the ultrasound done.  My ultrasound showed nothing, too.  Can you tell me what the HIDA test is like and how it is done?  I'm thinking that I should discuss this with my doctor, but I would like to know more about this test before I ask him.

try looking into your gall bladder with a HIDA scan.
