Chronic Pancreatits or Gallbladder Disease?

by AtlasTheGreat, Sep 28, 2009 10:06PM
A female in her late 20s is suffering with chronic pain for over 3+weeks, is having trouble keeping anything down, pregnant, and has been dignosted with from gas, to chronic pancreatits, and the possibility of gallbladder problems.  The big problem is that the things that are the most severe the problem that has matching symptoms the doctors say can't be done while she is pregnant.  She is 23 weeks pregnant suffering from immense pain with depression beginning to be more and more onsetting, is there any hope for possible relief for her while being pregnant to have a doctor diagnosis and treat the problem in the very near future?

When she has an ultrasound to look at the baby have them slide over a touch and look at her gallbladder. My wife had the same condition during pregnancy and it was stones lodged in her Gallbladder. They removed it 2 months after she gave birth. Doctor told us they see this problem alot with pregnancy.

Unfortunately there is not alot she can do about the pain during pregnancy (as if she doesn't have enough to deal with). Good luck and I hope she feels better.

inless she is a huge alcoholic,i doubt its pancreatitis in  a 20 something female!,,,gallbladder issues ,,possibly, but shes kinda young.
gasteritis is a big possibility with pregnancy, and who realy knows her pain threshold!,,,hes doubled over pain,,,might not actualy be so bad you know.
i have a daughter that is a drama queen if you know what i mean.
