Chronic nausea, need to vomit, poor hunger

Hi, i'm a 20 year old college student and i've had severe and chronic nausea for almost 5 years now and feel the need to vomit almost all the time. My appetite has been very poor for these years and I never feel hungry. I've been to many gastrologists who have done blood work and an upper Endoscopy and have found nothing. Things that aggravate my nausea and vomiting is emotional stress, anxiety, coughing, and I have ZERO alcohol tolerance. These symptoms have been conquering my social life and I am unable to go out and have fun with friends. The nausea is always lingering and it's starting to prevent me from speaking much. Please help me.

I am having the exact same problems. I have had this problem for almost 2 years now. I have had almost every test run and they always come up negative. I've had upper GI, brain scans, esophagul spasms tests, bravo monitoring, etc. I have not had my gall bladder tested and it's something that I've thought about doing. I am at the point where I might just get the stomach tube that feeds food into my stomach. I can't take this anymore, it's controlling my life completely. It started when I was 17 and has changed everything that I have planned on doing. No college, no sports (what I live for), and I rarely go out. So, you're not the only one. Let me know if they find anything.

Ultrasound of the gallbladder may show  stones....If not, don't give up. It may be biliary dyskinesia..that cannot be detected by ultrasound. But go step by step.

Vomiting bile (if endoscopy was fine) is probably from gallbladder or bile duct disorder.

Try if avoiding fatty foods or heavy/big meals help you.

Well, the biopsy of the endoscopy came back fine. I am now having an ultrasound on the liver/gallbladder and they are doing some test where they watch me digest my food. I'm still feeling nauseated everyday and when I do vomit, it is almost always bile. I'm starting to hate this... I was hoping they would've found something from the biopsy of the endoscopy but of course not.

HIDA scan is definitely an option if other tests will be negative.

I'm going to give you some advice - and if you'll take it, I think you'll be surprised at the results.  I went through the SAME THING and had every test known to mankind ran on me - all came back fine.  I finally argued with the doctor enough to run a "Hydascan" for gall-bladder function, and after running that - he realized the gall bladder was "ok" (no stones), but not working.  I convinced him to let a surgeon take it out - and sure enough, it was "dead", filled with - what they called "sludge", and it was making me sick - poisoning my system.  It is a laproscopic surgery, takes an hour or so - and you're ready to go back to work in 2 or 3 days.  The nausea was GONE after about 6 or 7 days - and rarely comes back.  You'll have to argue with them, though - because they always think they know better than those of us doing the suffering.

i had the same symptoms as you for almost 5 years, it turned out that my gallbladder was only functioning at 10%.  I had it taken out 6 days ago and have had none of the prior symptoms since.  get a hida scan w/cck done.  if the test proves painful then it is most likely you gallbladder

Yes, I guess they took a sample for H. pylori testing during endoscopy.

Symptoms of H. pylori may include upper abdominal bloating, excessive burping, heartburn, early satiety and burning pain below the breast bone.

I will find out the GI Upper Endoscory Biopsy results on the 30th, won't that indicate whether or not I have H. pylori? My blood pressure I would say is normal, as well as my blood levels which have also been tested recently.
