Clay coloured stool

Clay coloured stool

Today I noticed that my stool was clay in color. This is the first time that this occurred, although 2 weeks ago I had a bloody stool in which the toilet water was filled with blood. 2-3 Month's before that incident, my doctor told me I had hemorrhoids, but those symptoms cleared up long before my latest bloody stool. I also experience pain in my left testical on occasion and today my seamen had a portion of discoloration, faint brownish color. Both my upper left and right quadrants have a small sensation of discomfort with more pain associated with the left quadrant.

I was previously on Celebrex (200mg QD) for ganglionic cysts on both my wrists for duration of 2 weeks. I stopped taking the celebrex because I felt like they were doing nothing and I didn’t want to destroy my GI tract. I was also on vanlafaxine XR 75mg QD for over a year, but I stopped taking the pills because of the ADR’s, specifically prolonged time to ejaculation and decreased libido. I have been off vanlafaxine for over a month now and I don’t seem to be experiencing any withdrawal symptoms except for irregular sleeping habits and decreased ability to concentrate. My eating habits are poor, with my first meal being around 4 pm, and my last meal being around 9 pm. Hygiene is good, no sexual activity, no allergies. I am a smoker, and I have been taking caffeine pills 200mg q4h to help for studying and staying awake.

Do you know what might have caused the CLAY colored stool, and can it be related to my testicular/URQ/ULQ pain and seamen discoloration. Should I see a doctor?

Are you having any pain in your abdomen? The clay colored stools may mean that your gallbladder is malfunctioning. My advice to you would be to go see a gastroenterologist and have it checked out. Good Luck!!! My thoughts are with you.
