Colitis and Red face

Hi all Im 36 and have had colitis since the age of 19 only in the last few years has my face began to get red now its constant I have my colitis back under control after starting smoking again as it flared up after 9weeks off the fags I smoke 15 Regal Kingsize a day and im stuck between a flare up and giving up! Anyone else noticed this or has had simmilar problems? Going to the doctors tomorrow to find out about this red face probably tell me to cut out drinking altogether (Boo Hoo) but needs must, wonder if i have Rosacea?

Could be Rosacea.  There are various triggers for this.  I also have Rosacea and Ulcerative colitis.  My triggers are being over heated, caffeine, smoking and alcohol.  I am on Metrogel right now and it controls it somewhat.  But I have a hard time staying away from my triggers, especially my coffee!
