Colon Trouble & Left Arm Pain/Numbness

I am 27 years old. Female. I have recently been having digestive trouble. After 3 weeks of irregularity and pain, I saw my doctor. She thought it was a virus in combination with IBS and put me on a high fiber diet and dicyclomine. A week later I called back in because the pain and fullness in my left side was getting more intense and seemed to be causing my blood pressure to spike — both the general pressure and left side pressure were too intense for me to feel comfortable. She sent me in for a CT scan which revealed swollen lymph nodes in my stomach again, likely the result of a virus I'd had a few weeks back. So I spent last weekend on a low-residue diet resulting in a significant improvement of my pain and fullness. Now back at work on a Monday, I have watched what I've eaten but have been hungry (probably because I am no longer lying down all day). I had just a little to eat for lunch and the fullness and funny feelings on my left side have returned adding to them now, pain and numbness in my left arm. What's going on? I am relatively healthy. I don't smoke. I drink minimally but haven't since the onset of this issue. I exercise, up until having this trouble (running makes my hands swell so bad they hurt right now). Any ideas? I'm just looking for something that might help me get back to normal. It's been over a month! Thanks.

hi i too are suffering from sort of the same symptoms iv been told its ibs but im not to sure...iv had bowel trouble,bad chest pain very strange sensations down my left are pain in back and neck thigh pain and numbness all this occurs on my left side had lots of test that all come back normal i.e blood test brain scan chest x ray colonoscopy heaert monitor someone please help                                 29 year old male at the end of his teather..
