Vesicoureteral reflux has cleared up, however, now he has problems breathing. He feels as if he cannot get in enough air. In addition, he has not regained the strength he had prior to this surgery. Could the breathing problems and the weakness he feels be a side effect of Nissen fundoplication? He has been to other doctors and his lungs are clear and his heart is fine. Is there anything we can do? Has anyone had similar problems? Any advice would be appreciated.
