Constant burping stopped for me when...

I had bloating and constant burping for some time. The burping felt as if it started from below my navel and was very deep and loud. I was burping with each exhale and could not even sleep at night. It was suggested that I was swallowing air which I knew was bunk, because it started suddenly. My doctor felt it was started by stress. I did not believe him so I go on internet. I found that bacteria in my gut could have started this problem. I began taking eight drops of the oil of mountain wild grown oregano is a spoonful of olive oil three times a day. Also purchased a colon cleansing product and began taking it. After three days, the burping subsided to around three burps per hour and shortly after disappeared. Oil of oregano is very good at killing unfriendly bacteria and candida. I am disturbed that my dumb doctor did not know of this. I has suffered a long time and lost a lot of weight until I figured this out. Also, I had quit socializing altogether. If you have this problem, try and see if it helps you.

I have been belching almost nonstop for nearly two months and also have substernal pain which my doctor has diagnosed as GERD and started me on Aciphex.  Unfortunately, the Aciphex does not seem to help at all and I have been taking antacids without much relief either.  I have noticed on this forum that an H.pylori test might be indicated and I am going to suggest that to my doctor.  In the meantime, I am desparate for some relief --- where do you find "oil of oregano" and how precisely do you take it??
Mixed in water or juice or just take it by the tsp.?  I would appreciate any assistance as I am really unable to go anywhere with this frequent belching and also flatulence.
These symptoms are not related to any ingestion of food and I try and avoid fatty or fried foods completely.
Thanks!
