Constipation and annal fissure

i started feeling severe pain in my right hip joint perhaps due to isotretinoin side effect which i was using for acne.  I stopped taking it. Pain got severe and i was unable to move. i went to orthopedic and he took some tests. Urine, X-ray and joint ultrasound was normal but ESR was 28 (0-15) and CRP was positive. He said joint is infected.

he put me on IV antibiotics (oxidil 1 gram twice a day and augmentin 1.2 gram thrice a day for a week) Then on oral antibiotic for 4 weeks (ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day with calcium and vit  d-3 alongwith with naproxin sodium). 2 weeks have been passed and 2 left. Pain is gone. im on bed rest. But when i talk feel pain little bit.

Due to long use of antibiotics and NASAIDs im facing severe constipation and annal fissure. im using ispaghol husk and raw veges for relief in constipation but not helping much. What should i do to get rid of constipation. im afraid it will turn into piles etc

You can also take fiber supplements for your constipation. A 30-minutes walk a day and chomping on more high fiber foods. You should also avoid eating dairy products, especially large amount of cheese.

oops I thought I was responding to your other post about hip pain and constipation.  Sorry I should go slower :)
I would say that the Peri-colace and Colace are very good for constipation.  Walmart sells a generic version by Equate.

Hi if you can I would also take magnesium, that helps some people with constipation.
This might be crazy but at one time I read that hip pain can be a sign of calcium deficiency.  I was having hip pain, tried it, it seemed to help
Vitamin D is also necessary as well as a  regular multivitamin without iron.
Take Care
