Cornbread and Strawberries

My Mom And I have diverticulos I eat cornbread she says that I have to order no cornmeal on my Pizza. Also no strawberries. I have heard so many different stories could you please tell me the right one.

The problem with corn is that the corn GRAINS may stuck in diverticula and eventually cause infection. So, the problem may be with whole corn on pizza, not with corn bread.

I'm not sure what could be the problem with strawberries.

Hi.  I also suffer from diverticulosis and had multiple episodes of diverticulitis, which led to colon resection.  I think the problem with strawberries is that the skin has little seeds on them.  I have been staying away from them for that reason.  Hope this helps...
