Could I have a build up of acid in my body

I am 38 and I had surgery in June. I had my right ovary w/ a cyst, a partial hysterectomy, and my tubes tied. Since then I have the return of my acid reflux, and I have a uti I cannot kick! I was on 3 days macrobid then switched to 5 days cipro. I started feeling better and then this morning, bam! burning urine and back ache again along with reflux. Any relation between the two? I feel like I have an over load of acid in my body? I did eat steak last night. Could this be part of the problem? I am tired of feeling on and off crappy! Feej
