My father is 79 and a espogeal cancer survivor of 5 years. He had some radical surgery that removed much of his esophogus and stomach, and had what was left of his stomach relocated more behind the
centralCentral sleep apnea
Central-vite chest area. When he eats he gets this cramping or pain in what is basically the stomach area. His doctor has tried medicine after medicine to no avail. He has lost so much weight he looks like a concentration camp survivor. He so loved his food and now can not enjoy a meal without the attendant
fearFears and phobias of this lousy cramping. Is there ANYTHING in the way of a drug that can either eliminate or relieve the cramping when he eats as this would allow him to enjoy a meal and gain some needed weight back. Any reply's would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that the basic stuff (
PeptoPepto children's
Pepto-bismol
Pepto-bismol maximum strength bismol,
MylantaMylanta ar
Mylanta child
Mylanta gas
Mylanta gas maximum strength etc. have been tried already) and what he really needs IMHO is some kind of "antispasmodic" or something. Please help!
