Cramps in the stomach region

Cramps in the stomach region

For the past four yeaers or so, I have suffered from stomach spasms, generally trigerred by the first bite of a meal, or a glass of cold water, or peanut butter toast. The internist I consulted attributed this to "my nerves". I am a rather level-headed woman not given to hysteria of any form. For the past three weeks or so now, I suffer violent cramps, which seem like muscle cramps in the area immediately below and to the left of the sternum. I do not care to go consult again a physician who blames stress or "women's nerves". The cramps are painful, as are the spasms, enough to take my breath away and bring involuntary tears to my eyes and double me over with the pain of it. Is this muscular? If so, what can I do? Thank you kindly for your attention. Gonoxu.

Hi i have been diagnoised with esophealitist and pancreastitist. i started out with esophia spasums. whenever i lay down my orgains spas out, funy scaray feeling! then it got worse with pains, maybe youare suffering from pancreatitist and need t have a blood test done to check your lypace. I think i spell it right! sounds like you maybe suffering from that or something simular to mine! don't stop going tot he doctor! if they don't do something keep going! this is your body and sometimes doctors give up when the body does not show a cause for it's symtoms (symptoms). they changes my blood preasure meds and the pain stop the pancreas is fine in size, but i am stil having spasums! go figer! hang in there sweet friend. do ever get discouraged from going to your doc no matte what. this is all about you and your peace of mind even at that. but your physical need jus as much attention as they give your the line about stress! doctoer always blam the patients mental well being when they themselves can't find something wrong. i think its them, and their iuncompotence to find the problem! doctors noadays are trained to treat symtoms (symptoms) and not the problem!

Hi
Had the same thing for years....worse when stressed which is most of the time. They can't find the reason. Mine happens when i eat like you, and when i bend like now when I'm using the computer; have to sit back and take a deep breath. Take Zantac, slippry elm and Valium which hepls a bit but you can't just take more and more valium. It's something to do with my central nervous system but they don't know what. Stay calm they tell me, and avoid food that aggravates it. Cant drink Coke, eat peanuts, pizza etc. How to stay calm when your whole like has turned to s***t because of chronic illness, old age. poverty, hopelessness in general, bank's reposessing the house and we'll have nothing left because the values have fallen through the floor. Stop worrying.....yeah, and pigs fly!
anyway, cheer up - I can't. I do feel better now though....maybe its a stress reliever to post. ?  Seriously, I'm a grumpy old man......and we should look on the bright side. Plenty of people worse off. Here's a smile for you....##88
