Crohn's

I was told by my Dr today my blood test came back as Possible crohn's and I have had IBS with constipation for years and was on Zelnorm my life saver untill it was recalled. I have some spots inside inflamation (inflammation) but with the things I have read I have no  signs of this. Are there different things we should know?

There are a lot of things you need to know. You need verification of the 'possibility' of Crohn's which will typically be done via endoscopies. You'll want to know where the inflammatory pattern is and how extensive it is. If this is Crohn's, you want to start to discuss what form of treatment you should start to try to make sure that the inflammatory pattern does not become stronger.

If you have relatives, you may want to tell them to have themselves checked if the diagnosis proves to be correct.

Some people with Crohn's do have constipation and not the diarrhea that some people associate with this disease.
