Two weeks ago, I had a colonoscopy to verify I was only experiencing symptoms of internal hemorrhoids. The GI doctor said I had congested mucosa in the rectum near the hemorrhoid. The biopsy was clear...no cancer, but he says that he can't rule out Crohn's or ulcerative colitis
stools. I have none of the typical symptoms. I go in Tuesday for my appointment, and I was wondering what questions to ask the doctor. Has anyone else been diagnosed with either of these problems and never had any symptoms? If the inflammation was there, would I not be in pain or something? I'm very scared and would appreciate any advice. Thanks
You may have signs of having something, but it just information for you to be aware of in the future. If it does not hurt, do not worry about it. You will know in the future if you have pain. Just learn the symptoms and what to prevent or what to do when and if it happens.
