Thanks for your support, I'm going to give that a try, and I bet you're exactly right too.
I can drink moderately and use Zoloft- no problems with me. I have been on it over 10 years. When I try to reduce med or discontinue I get the brain zaps- very similar to vertigo- but DIFFERENT- hard to explain- when you feel it you will know it- your eyes sort of cross super fast- usually when you turn your head or moving from sitting to standing or similar movements/
It is not unusual to associate stomach ache with the food we just ate- but usually with (food or in your case alcohol) poisoning it is what was ingested a full 48 hours prior that we are reacting to....
I am guessing you are just tearing up your stomach with drinking so heavily- but I know you weren't looking for a lecture from an old lady although~~~~
as my father always said- "Moderation in all things!" :-))
You'll know when you take it easier or take a weekend or so of drinking off and monitor the difference- if you so choose
Should also note, the color of the stool has been fine, other then when wiping, just once there was a small bright red line, I possibly wiped too hard, or hemmorhoid.
Yeah it has, seems like by Monday after a weekend of heavy Friday/Saturday drinking, I'm wiped out and occasionally, its Monday I have the diarrhea. I should mention I did eat cold Wendy's fast food (lol), Tuesday, then later had the diarrhea. So I could really just assume that did it. How are you on the zoloft? I figure also, maybe drinking with the zoloft, and just my anxiety in general could be contributing to the diarrhea as its a known side-effect. thanks for the reply
probably unrelated- I had a drink (one Margarita) friday night that made me so woozie I thought WTF? For days I was dizzy and and nauseated- I had recent dental work and my mind was starting to even wonder if the tooth was giving me the vertigo- called the dentist- he was not convinced it was dental related- etc etc- get back to work - all my coworkers and their children had a stomach bug this weekend-
BTW I am on 50 mg Zoloft
also bloody stool may indicate you are recovering from light bout of food poisoning- you may need a round of antibiotics
OTOH- you know when we drink alcohol we are poisoning our bodies- so maybe your body's just fighting the poison-
has it happened before?
I should note I also take 50mg of zoloft per day.
