Diarrhea after antibiotics

my doctor prescribed me bacterial antibiotics because he thought i had a sinus infection but it turned out i did not, anyways for the last 2 weeks i been having diarrhea, loose stools, is that from the antibiotics. oh yea i have been off the antibiotics for about 2 weeks now, is it just some viral infection lingering around from the antibiotics? thanks

It is due to antibiotics, i suffered 3 weekss of diarrhea from taking a cure of antibiotics and 3 months of stomach and abdominal pains. it is due to antibiotics 100%. the way i made it stopped was drinking a lot of fruit juice with active bacteria. You do the same plus alot of youghurt with active bacteria, not the one with fruits and sugar.
hope you get better soon, it wants patience, but i am sure you will soon let it behind.

You may have an intestinal infection called c. diff. I had it after taking antibiotics. It is  very hard to cure. I took 2 rounds of Vancomycin by mouth and was hospitalized 2x before getting better.  They can diagnose it with a stool specimen. You should have it checked out because it can be very serious.
