Diastasis recti before I got pregnant

Im 32 weeks pregnant and I want to have a natural birth but Im wondering if I should have a Cesarea since 4 years ago I had an Epigastric Hernia and Diastasis Recti surgery....Actually, I had the hernia since I was 5 years old or so (I´m 31 now) and I didnt know about the Diastasis untill after the surgery when the doctor told me he also repaired that during surgery...the gap or separation between my muscules wasnt too bad but he thought it was saver to have it repaired then.
This is my 1rst pregnancy and everything is going great ... I just want to know if the risk of getting the diastasis and hernia back is too big if I decide for a natural child delivery ... what happens if my muscules break apart ?? Would I need a surgery right away?

This is something you should discuss fully with your doc since the beneficial effects of the surgery may be lost with natural childbirth.
