Please anything to find a solution, hes being without food and drink since they don't want to worsen this problem.
My son, 21 years old, had an appendectomyAppendectomy Appendectomy - series in early February 2008 and still suffers from constant bowel movements (usually five or six per day) and bowel movement urgesUrge incontinence. He has seen two gastroenterologists, one said it was stress related and was IBS (he never had this problem prior to the appendectomyAppendectomy Appendectomy - series) and the other did stool sample tests, which proved negative for c diff and parasites. He is now scheduled for a sigmoidoscopy this week. This has been terrible and interferes with his life in every way. If anyone knows why this happens after an appendectomy, or how to deal with it, please advise.
