Diet Help

Im new to this site so firsty I would like to say "Hello" to everyone.  I had an endoscopy last Thurs as I have been suffering from burning and nauseous feeling in my stomach for the past couple of years.  My GP thought it was an ulcer and I was being treated using Losamel (20mg) the pain would go for a couple of months I would come off the tablets and be pain free then all of a sudden the symptoms would reappear at the last episode the pain got so bad I was bent over and couldnt walk so GP doubled dose of Losamel to (40 mg) and that seemed to work.

Last Thurs the endoscopy revealed stomach inflammation with no H-Pylori present. I have been put onto Losamel (40mg) for 3 months and was told to go back after that. But very little other information was given to me, I did a bit of googling and found out what I have is called Gastritis I was just wondering does anyone have advice on what I should be eating and anything else to help with the pain as I said im on Losamel (40 mg) a day & taking Gaviscon for the burning.  Would it be worth my while to go to a dietician and get a special diet, I want to get rid of this condition once and for all as it affecting my quality of life. I am hoping to get to my GP this week for the full results but I would appreciate help & tips from people suffering from this and maybe the questions I should be asking my GP.
