Digestion issues

I feel a burning sensation in my stomach every morning I wake up. If at all I am late for work, I skip breakfast and go to work. In such cases, around 11:00 am, the burning sensation intensifies and only when I eat something, it stops.
I am very irregular with my dieting schedule and this has been going on for years.

However, from last 2 weeks I am having Diarrhea. Usually it happens when I don't eat on time for a day or two. When this happens, I drink lots of buttermilk to block the acids in my stomach and I feel relieved. But this time, even after taking buttermilk, diarrhea persisted for around a week. It is not like I have to go restroom all the time, but whenever I do, I feel something is wrong with my digestion. I hear strange sounds in my stomach and I am not sure how to explain...I think my stool is too soft and this is continuing for weeks. My friends have told me that I am looking sick and tired and my doctor instead of diagnosing the issue, gave me some pills for blocking the acids in stomach. I read somewhere on the internet it is not preventive measure and not good for health in long run.

I am not 27.

I am a nutritionist.  You MUST find out if your stomach is producing too much acid or not enough.  The symptoms for both problems are the same.  The only test that will difinitely prove whether it's too much or too little is a test called a Heidelberg Gastrogram (google this).  Find a holistic doctor in your area that does this test (Traditional doctors don't even know about it).  If you can't, you may have to go out of state to have it done.  Very easy test.  Good Luck!

Thank you so much for your reply.

I googled Heidelberg Gastrogram and that is exactly what I need. I could not find any locations where this test can be done but I live in Los angeles. Hopefully I will find a doctor soon.

In one of the other threads, I found someone with similar symptoms and he recommended using "Lifestream Bowel biotics" which apparently cured his problem. I ordered that product and I am waiting for its arrival. Do you have any opinion on such products?

Thanks Again.

Taking probiotics are always a good idea.  You may have an imbalance in the flora in your bowels (too much yeast, not enough good probiotic bacteria).  Is it possible that these problems started after taking an antibiotic?  Anyway, people with yeast often have problems with their stomach acid.  It is possible you could have both.  Find a good holistic dr that does the Heidelberg test.  He can also check you for yeast.  In the meantime, go ahead and take the Lifestream product.  Good luck!

PS  I have spent a total of 8 hours answering questions for people on this forum and another forum over the past 3 days.  I won't be back for a few months to do this again because I don't have time.  I will say a prayer for you, I promise, and I wish you all the best :)
