Digestive
Hi:
Maybe somebody can answer this question:  Can a small hiatus hernia go away on it's own.
I had an Upper GI done about three years ago.  The report states that I have a small hiatus hernia.  I just had an Upper GI done (about 2 weeks ago)at a different hospital (Cleveland Clinic Ohio) and my reports says no hiatus hernia present.   Thank you for your time.

In some, the hernia can 'slide' a bit, up-and-down. It's possible that during this endoscopy the hernia was not seen because it had slipped downward.
