Dilated Pancreatic Duct

by Hope777161, May 17, 2009 03:13PM
A family member recently had a CT scan. She also had blood tests and biopsy for cysts on the thyroid.  The blood tests were negative and we were told that there was no cause for alarm for the cysts.  Fluid was drained from the cysts and she is required to have CT scans done every 3 months for the next 12 months.  She was advised that the CT scan showed that she had a dilated pancreatic duct.  She fell a couple of years ago on the same side of her body.  Could the fall have triggered a dilated pancreatic duct?
