Diraeha and Throwing up

I would like to know if throwing up and diraeha is a sign of something serious. My boyfriend has been having diraeha and does a lot of throwing up lately and he has no appetite. Should we be worried?

How long has this been going on? Is he able to keep fluids down? If he can't, and it's been going on longer than a day or so, you need to get him to a doctor or ER so he can get some IV fluids (if nothing else). Dehydration is serious. A doctor will take a history and be able to tell whether it's something that needs to be addressed further.
