Discomfort in upper left side

Ok, so this is a litle hard to explain but I'm gonna try my best.  Ive been having discomfort, it's in the upper, left side kinda left of my left breast but it feels like it's on the side.  Any ideas what it could be??!!   I've been painting the past two days so I don't know if that couldbe related..  I am right handed but I do use my left hand too.  Thanks for any advice anyone can give me!!

Could you have been sitting a certain way since you are painting that might have aggrevated a muscle?do you have asthma? I agree with patient 915, could be muscular in nature.perhaps a pinched nerve. Maybe a few days if rest and see how you feel.if no better, might be a good idea to see your doctor.hope you feel better! Also, try some heat or ice pack to the area to see if that helps with discomfort.

Welcome to the gastroeterology community!  This sounds like it might be muscular related.  Are you having any GI symptoms along with this?
