Discovering clips in adomen.

Just discovered there are clips in upper rt quad.  Had Nissan fundoplication 16 years ago and have had pain to touch across the diaphragm under breasts ever since.  Not one doc ever thought of taking x ray of that area, just sloughed it off as fibromyalgia, also a result (not verified, of course) of that surgery.  (An aside: seems fibromyalgia is quite common in females after surgery.)

Is removal even possible, I wonder?  And would it change any damage, if any, at this late date?  I'm getting old, so I don't go into any surgical procedure lightly!  :)
