Had been having some soreness and had an ultrasound done. The report states: "The liver is homogeneous in echotexture without focal masses or ductal dilatation. The gallbladder is distended without stone formation, wall thickening or pericholecystic fluid. The common bile duct measures up to 3.0 mm in diameter in its mid to distal aspect." I don't know exactly what all that means. I googled some words to figure out things like that my liver is good. My doc wasn't much help. All I have been told is that it's enlarged. I've been recommended to a GI but haven't had that visit yet. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.
