Diverti bouts twice a year

by NancyQue, Dec 21, 2008 09:41AM
I'm 53 yr old female and have diverticulitis pain about twice a year for the past 10 yrs.  Right now I'm on antibiotic for an attack.  Pain started after having a diarrhea episode (ate large salad w/corn, tomatoes).  After the holidays I'm going to make appt w/gastrologist.  I have a colonoscopy every 5 yrs.  Some diverticuli showed but othewise healthy colon.  Does a CT scan show problem even when I'm well?

This discussion is related to 35 YO with Recurring Diverticulitis or IBS?.
