Does anyone know if anemia causes Gastritis? Another gastritis sufferer mentioned this to me. I've had bouts of anemia off and on and its particularly worse when I have severe bouts with gastritis. No doctor ever mentioned this as a possibility.
If I cured the anemia with iron supplements, would this cure the gastritis? I'm feeling very tired right now so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm also anemic again. The only issue is iron is irritating to the stomach and I sure don't need that now.
