a really awful taste in mouth? I've had a bitter taste in my mouth for days. It almost taste like it does when you accidently spray hair spray in your mouth and it only goes away while I'm drinking/eating. Very bothersome! I'm not sure what it is, but I do have GERD, IBS, Gallbladder probs. Related? I've never had this before!

It suggests you're refluxing 'high' and moving either bile or acid into the back of your throat or you mouth.

I keep a tste in my throat all the time.  I have acid reflux.  Do everything you can to keep it under control.  My reflux is so high, I have a sore throat and my tongue is swollen,  Sometimes I get strangled very easy.  Hope you get better soon.
