Does this sound like Crohn's?

Does this sound like Crohn's?

Hi, I just recently had my gall bladder removed about 2 months ago, and it didn't relieve my symptoms.  The symptoms are nausea, bloating, gas, acid reflux, and clay stools.  I also have constipation that is followed by occasional diarrhea.  Some other symptoms that seem unlrelated are RLS and tendonitis that is in serveral locations all over my body.  I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy two days ago.  The results revealed that I have an ulcer in the ileum.  My mom has Crohn's in the ilium and she had about two feet of her small intestines removed a few years back.  The endoscopy also revealed a hiatal hernia and some stomach polyps.

A little personal info, I am a 39 male, 6'1", 205 lbs in reasonably good shape.  I've always been fairly athletic.  I've had to cut back working out due to feeling cruddy.  I save my energy, so I can work a full week and spend quality time with my wife and kids.

I also have a follow up appt in three weeks.  The Dr. also did some biopsies of the polyps, colon, and small intestine.  I should know the results of those in a few days.

I've also had blood work and stool lab work.  All were negative.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thx!

Jimmy

Just got my biopsy results.  They're benign, so that's good.

I've called the nurse to see what is next.  My follow up appt is not for another two weeks, and they don't have any earlier appts.  She's going to talk with the dr to see what he recommends.

I'm a little frustrated with them.  I'm having trouble making a full week at work and I feel like they're dragging they're feet a little.  They originally scheduled my follow up appt a 1.5 months out from the endoscopy and colonoscopy.  I feel like I have to be aggressive with them to get timely treatment.

Any advice?  Is this normal for gastro offices?  Also, is bloodwork the next procedure, or a barium scan?

Also, I've tried to stress to them that my mom has crohn's and my sister has lupus, so autoimmune disorders seem to run in my family.  Shouldn't that some sort of sign to my gastro?

Thx, Jimmy
