Don't know what to think

Had CT scan due to abdominal pain ~ showed scattered tiny hypodensities on liver likely representing hemangiomas or cysts ~ should I be worried? Dr has said nothing about this.

Thank you again for your reply ~ I did go to gyno today after a painful night last night n today all she said was the cysts would go away and to take something for pain n take it easy for couple weeks :/ ugh I told her I am in pain and nauseous and just don't feel right. But all she said is follow up on liver lesions n if if I'm still feeling pain in 6 months in pelvic area to do another CT scan. Really? I mean how can she just know that these are cysts that will just disappear? And if one has ruptured wouldn't she have been able to tell while she in there looking? (Excuse my bluntness) But I can't go 6 months months feeling like this :/

No my primary Dr. Didn't even say anything about these findings ~ she was more worried about bilateral ovarian cysts. Which I am going to gyno for today. I just don't like the thought that there are any abnormalities on liver ~ it also worried me that Dr. Thinks nothing of it. Maybe I am just a worry wart :/

I would definitely have a follow up appointment with your Doctor and ask for clarification on those lesions. Better safe than sorry. I know they do more labs and eventually a biopsy, but if your doctor says not to worry, it's probably just fatty liver or benign hemangiomas. Good luck. :)

Are you seeing a GI doctor? One test showed a small lesion on my kidney and I was referred to a specialist.  Maybe you should ask for a referral to a specialist.  I would.  In my case, said not to worry but do follow up in a year.
